my friend really likes Gurgi from the The Black Cauldron (she thinks he’s cute or something) so I sketched him in a Christmas bow for her.

Day #01 Favourite Character
Gurgi
I have many favourites, but Gurgi is who I have on my name badge and was my CM interview answer so we’ll go with him!
I’m always left explaining who Gurgi is, as not many people know him by name, but often they’ll remember him if I show them his picture on the DVD. The Black Cauldron is a fairly under the radar film but as a kid I loved it so when I rediscovered it I fell in love with Gurgi all over again!
Not a clue what he’s supposed to be (a dog combined with an ape maybe?) but he’s the cutest and most cuddly looking character I can think of, and I can relate to always wanting munchings and crunchings :)
It makes me quite sad that I know I’ll never get a decent looking Gurgi plush toy :(
